Cohorts to Quarantine - 4.20.21

On April 20, 2021, 9-R was notified by San Juan Basin Public Health (SJBPH) that individuals in cohorts at Durango High School and Riverview Elementary School tested positive for COVID-19, causing two (2) cohorts to quarantine. The schools and the district are working proactively with the SJBPH to make the appropriate notifications and next steps for those who may have been in close contact with this individuals.

Cohorts to Quarantine - 4.22.21

On April 22, 2021, 9-R was notified by San Juan Basin Public Health (SJBPH) that individuals in cohorts at Durango High School, Escalante Middle School, Park Elementary and Riverview Elementary tested positive for COVID-19, causing five (5) cohorts to quarantine. The schools and the district are working proactively with the SJBPH to make the appropriate notifications and next steps for those who may have been in close contact with this individual.

On April 5, 2021, 9-R was notified by San Juan Basin Public Health (SJBPH) that an individual at Riverview Elementary is positive for COVID-19, causing a cohort to quarantine. The school and the district are working proactively with the SJBPH to make the appropriate notifications and next steps for those who may have been in close contact with this individual.

9-R Board of Education Coffee Chat - April 7, 2021

Join 9-R Board of Education members tomorrow, April 7, 2021, from 8-9, to have an informal conversation about how everything is going for you and your student. The meeting will be on Zoom, and a live interpreter will be available.

Preschool and Kindergarten Registration for 2021/22

9-R is encouraging families to register for preschool and kindergarten for the 2021/22 school year as soon as possible. It is vital to ensure staffing and program availability to all of those who need the services. Registration is open and families are encouraged to register ASAP. The district preschool program is licensed to serve 16 students in a class, and currently the district is making budgetary and staffing decisions based on how many classes it needs next year.

On March 29, 2021, 9-R was notified by San Juan Basin Public Health (SJBPH) that an individual at Riverview Elementary has tested positive for COVID-19, causing a cohort to quarantine. The school and the district are working proactively with the SJBPH to make the appropriate notifications and next steps for those who may have been in close contact with this individual.

On March 28, 2021, 9-R was notified by San Juan Basin Public Health (SJBPH) that an individual at Riverview Elementary tested positive for COVID-19, causing a cohort to quarantine. The school and the district are working proactively with the SJBPH to make the appropriate notifications and next steps for those who may have been in close contact with this individual.
