Registration Verification
It is super important that each family complete the online registration for next year. For staffing purposes it is crucial that we know which students are coming back for the 21-22 school year and which aren’t. Wednesdays
As of right now there is not a plan for returning on Wednesdays for a full in-person week of school. This could change, however, based on community transmission rates and Task Force decisions. We will communicate as we learn more.
Spring CMAS
This is a reminder that Grades 3, 4, and 5 will be engaged in CMAS testing, a Colorado state assessment, for the next 2 weeks. As a result of recent state legislation and a federal mandate, students will be required to take one test per grade level. Grades 3 and 5 will take English Language Arts while 4th graders will take Math. Riverview’s testing schedule will be as follows:
April 12, 13, & 15: 4th grade Math, 5th grade ELA
April 19, 20, 22: 3rd grade ELA
April 26-30th: Make-ups
In an effort to keep our daily schedule with Specials, interventions, and small group instruction, classrooms will test on the assigned days but at a time that suits their daily schedule. If you have any questions in regards to individual classroom schedules, please contact your child’s teacher. If you have any general questions regarding CMAS you may contact Duane Tucker or your child’s teacher. You may also access additional information at https://www.cde.state.co.us/assessment/cmas. As always, we appreciate your support and we hope you and your child enjoy that last couple of months in our school year.
Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair will be occurring online April 19 - May 2nd. There will be information coming home in your student’s Friday Folder on April 16th.
Save the Date
The Riverview STUDENT PICTURE DAY will be on Friday, April 30th. Our Photographer will be local photographer, Allison Ragsdale. There will not be prepaid envelopes for the picture packages. All orders will be done online after the picture day. More details to follow.

If you mark ANY symptoms or exposure on screening keep your child home and call Nurse Ocea at 970-347-3862 ext3203. If you keep your child home for ANY reason, you must be in touch with Nurse Ocea for clearance to return.
