Update for Riverview Families - 7.24.20

Ms. Neiman has a long, successful career in education, beginning in Douglas County as a second grade teacher 15 years ago. When she moved to Durango in 2008, Neiman spent the next ten years as a first, second and fourth grade teacher, as well as two years as an instructional coach at Park Elementary.  Neiman gained her administrative experience as Assistant Head of School at Mountain Middle School for the two years before coming to Riverview.

Last year, we were thrilled to welcome Neiman back to 9-R as your Assistant Principal, and now as your Principal. This is a wonderful opportunity to create a smooth transition in leadership at the school as we all prepare for what will likely be an unprecedented school year.

We are grateful for Neiman’s leadership and look forward to all the great work she and her team will accomplish for the students and families at Riverview.  Please join me in giving Lindsay a hearty congratulations as she takes on this important and critical role.

Best regards,

Dan Snowberger
