2024-25 registration for all schools is now open
We look forward to assisting your student in registering in our district and enrolling at one of our schools. Registration for all Durango 9-R schools began on February 20, 2024. Please register for the 2024/25 school year as soon as possible to ensure appropriate access and resources for you and your student at your preferred school. Choose the option below that best describes your family to get your registration started:
Registration for existing and new students K-12
Registration for all schools began on February 20, 2024. Existing families need to log into their Infinite Campus Parent Portal account and complete the online registration form for the 2024/25 school year. Families that do not have access to a computer may complete the online registration at the school by using the kiosk that is available for new and existing families. Please call or stop by the school to arrange an appointment. After completing the online registration, families will still need to complete the enrollment process with the school.

Open Enrollment ***opens on April 1st***
Open enrollment applies to all students in grades K-12 who either live outside of 9-R boundaries or wish to attend a different school than the one assigned to their neighborhood. To access the open enrollment application please click here. As you complete your online registration, please select the school of residence. If you wish to apply outside of your school of residence, please complete the open enrollment process. More information on open enrollment can be found here.
Kindergarten registration
Kindergarten and Preschool Open House events
Families and new students are invited to come and learn about our preschool and kindergarten programs. Families will learn about our schools and what to expect for the upcoming school year. Families will have an opportunity to complete and turn in necessary registration forms. Please bring proof of residency, birth certificate, and immunization records.

Preschool registration
Preschool interest forms are now being accepted. Universal preschool applications will open on February 29. Early registration prioritizes families for continuity of care, employees, and siblings. Universal preschool matches will begin in April. Universal preschools provide 15 hours of programming for all children who are 4 by September 1. To apply please visit the Colorado Department of Early Childhood website. For more information about our preschool programs, including locations, schedules, and tuition rates please view our ECE webpage here. Space is limited in our preschool classrooms. Please complete the preschool interest form and the universal preschool application through CDEC. If you are unable to do so, please contact Jennifer Baufield at (970) 247-5411 extension 1468. Before starting our Online Registration process, we ask that you locate your attendance boundary school using our School Boundary Map. Simply enter your street address, city, and state, into the address field to find your attendance boundary school, this will be the school that you should request on your application.
In addition to registering online all families MUST fill out a Health Information Form. Please fill out, print, and return or email the form to your school. To see additional forms that some families may need, visit our Enrollment Forms page. Online Registration Kiosks and paper copies of the Health Information Form are available at each school.
